This version is exactly the same as the US "limited edition: CD+DVD" version (see below), except it also comes with a Japanese lyric sheet, in addition to the English lyric sheet.

The Woods CD/2xLP -Limited Edition (available from Jackpot Records). This limited edition includes all the same songs as the regular album. The bonus is that you can choose which band member's version you want - Carrie's, Corin's, or Janet's. Each version comes with a photo that represents how the particular band member felt about the album. I've included the photos on the Album-Related Promos page of this site.

 The Woods CD -Limited Edition (SP0679; May 24, 2005). Released on Sub Pop Records. This limited edition CD includes all the same songs as the regular CD. An excerpt from the respondproject.org website: "Respond II is a compilation to benefit RESPOND Incorporated and the Family Violence Prevention Fund. RESPOND, Inc. was one of the first programs in the United States to offer shelter and assistance to victims of domestic violence. The Family Violence Prevention Fund (FVPF) is the nation's premiere organization working to prevent abuse".

 Off with Your Head CD single (KRS387LE; 2002). Released on Kill Rock Stars. This CD single is only available with the Limited Edition of the One Beat CD - it was never sold separately. 2 songs: Off with Your Head, Lions and Tigers.

 Off with Your Head 7" (KRS387LE; 2002). Released on Kill Rock Stars. This 7" came with the limited edition of the One Beat LP - it was never sold separately. 2 songs: Off with Your Head, Lions and Tigers.

 One Beat CD/LP - misprinted back cover (KRS387; 2002). Released on Kill Rock Stars. Tracks 9 and 10 (Funeral Song and Prisstina) are switched on the track listing. The song names are also switched within the track list encoding of the CD - if you put the disc in to try and make mp3s, you will see what I mean.

One Beat CD - Japanese version (PCD23275; 2002). Released on P-Vine Records. This CD is available through amazon.com. This version has 14 songs. The tracks are the same as the ones on the One Beat limited edition album w/ bonus tracks (see above), except the bonus tracks are included at the end of the album CD, as opposed to being on a separate "bonus single" CD.

 All Hands on the Bad One CD single (does a 7" exist?) (OLE467-2; 2000). According to Matador Records, this was never released (at least not by Matador, or Matador Europe). This seems to exist as a promotional CD only. All Hands on the Bad One is the only song on this CD. If you have more information on this, please email me. Thanks!

The tracks on the Japanese version are the exact same as on the US (Kill Rock Stars) version (see above). There are no extra tracks on this, despite what the editorial review on amazon.com says. It does, however, come with an additional lyric sheet, which has the lyrics written up in Japanese. Which is very cool.

 Free to Fight 7" (CDR028; 1996, 1997?). Released on Candyass; Distributed by Chainsaw here. (Hopefully that works right!). Sleater-Kinney song on this is: Big Big Lights. On the flip side is Blame the Victim by Cypher in the Snow. The inserts are very cool, they demonstrate women's self defense techniques, address the issue of violence among women, etc.
